TREKKING ROUTES

Naturalistic Archaeological Trail
This fairly long but easy route is designed for nature and archaeology lovers.
During the excursion we will visit the LIPU nature reserve of Massaciuccoli and walk along the walkways of the lake of the same name, reaching the observation huts on the banks. With a bit of luck, it will be possible to admire the typical aquatic birds of the area in their natural habitat.
Afterwards, leaving again towards the town of Massaciuccoli, we will make an archaeological stop in an area of the municipality of Massarosa where there are traces of a well-preserved and cared for Roman villa, before returning towards the Camping Village Versilia Mare.

- Duration: approximately 4 hours including stops
- Distance: approximately 50 km
- Difficulty: easy, suitable for everyone and flat
- Minimum 4 people to organize the route.
Registration fee: €50 per person and includes:
- 1 trekking e-bike per person
- 1 breakfast or snack basket prepared by the chef of the Versilia Mare restaurant with 1 drink of your choice
- An unprofessional guide
- A support vehicle to follow for any needs
